Dominique LeBlanc and Félix Robichaud are U de M athletes of the week

Soccer players Dominique LeBlanc, of Dieppe, and Félix Robichaud, of Pont-Landry, New Brunswick, have been chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athletes of the week for the period from October 9 to 15, 2017 by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Keeper Dominique LeBlanc registered a shutout and kept her team in the game in their loss during the two games played on the weekend. She had five shots on Friday in the shutout win against the Mounties. There were ten shots on goal in the Saturday game against the Varsity Reds and she kept her team in the game with a few spectacular saves. She is a bachelor of education-physical-education student.

Striker Félix Robichaud got three shots on goal and scored twice in his team’s victory over the Mounties, on Friday. On Saturday, Robichaud made his presence known on the field with two shots and playing his game in the loss to UNB. He is adapting well to university calibre play. He is a bachelor of arts-general student.
