U de M cross country teams in Québec

The Université de Moncton cross country teams head to Quebec City for the annual Réseau des sports étudiants du Québec (RSEQ) and Atlantic University Sport (AUS) races on the Plains of Abraham.

“The weekend races will be a good challenge for our teams,” Aigles coach Jean-Marc Doiron said. “The path on the Plains of Abraham is very hard for the runners. It was modified because of construction, and there will be a few more hills. It will offer us an occasion to measure our times with those of the best Québec runners. We only see them once a year. With a larger number of runners and a race path that will be challenging, it promises to be very interesting for all runners.”

Myriam Cormier, Myriam Cyr, Kamylle Frenette, Josianne Guay, Laurence Guitard, Carol-Ann MacDonald, Abygail Pelletier, December Sampson, Hannah Scott and Émilie Guthrie are the Aigles Bleues running in the 6 km race.

The men in the 8 km race are Nassim Bousmaha, Shayne Dobson, Samuel Gerber, Christian Haché, Alexandre Leclair and Bryan Thomas.
