Mireille LeBlanc appointed vice-dean of the education sciences faculty

Mireille LeBlanc has been named vice-dean of the Université de Moncton’s education sciences faculty. The appointment was ratified at the university’s Board of Governors meeting held on Saturday, June 10, 2017.

Professor LeBlanc has been with the Université de Moncton since 2004. She holds a bachelor’s degree in special education from the Université du Québec à Rimouski, a master’s degree in educational psychology from Université Laval and a Ph.D. in education from the Université de Moncton.

Specialized in educational psychology, she currently works in the elementary education and educational psychology department. In the past, she has been responsible for the master’s degree in education (methods and resources) and chaired the graduate studies committee for the master’s degree in education.

In addition to her management experience, she is very involved in several aspects of the Université de Moncton’s education sciences faculty.

Her appointment takes effect on July 1, 2017, for a regular term of five years.
