Nineteen U de M athletes at McGill competition

The Université de Moncton will be represented by 19 athletes at the annual track and field McGill University Challenge, to be held this weekend in Montreal.

The women Aigles Bleues team will consist of Jessie Drouin, Constance Gilman, Monika LeBlanc, Isabelle Morris, Sara-Eve Noël, Lisa Richard and Miriook St-Arnauld Hivon.

The men Aigles Bleus team is composed of André Arsenault, Jean-Luc Bastarache, Ryan Caissie, Raphaël Choquette, Alain Doucet, Aaron LeBlanc, Julien Léger, François Pelletier, Rémi Poitras, Christian Richard, Samuel Robichaud and Bryan Thomas.

There will also be four relay teams in both men and women 4x200 and 4x400 m.

Coach Steve LeBlanc is looking forward to his athletes’ performances and measure their progress. The AUS championship will be held at the Ceps Louis-J.-Robichaud, Feb. 24 and 25.
