Volleyball Aigles Bleues play the Huskies

Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (6-5=12pts, 3rd place) will visit the Dalhousie University Tigers in Atlantic University Sport women’s volleyball action on Sunday in Halifax.

The Huskies won the last game between the two teams 3-2 at the in November. The battle for third spot is now evident amid the play of these two squads.

"We will do our best. It is a very important game like all the others," coach Monette Boudreau-Carroll said. "We lost to them in five sets the last time. We still have a number of important matches to play and a number of my key players are injured."

Centre Alyssa Turenne is not available this weekend because of an injury. The Aigles Bleues won 23 sets this season and lost 18 while the Tigers are 26 and 22. The Aigles lost their last game while Saint-Mary’s won to join the Bleu et Or in third spot.
