Hockey Aigles Bleus to host X-Men
The Serge Bourgeois coached team, following it 4-2 Wednesday win, climb to 6th spot and can add two more points.
"The X-Men roll on four lines and have depth, so it will be important for us to do the simple plays, stick to the small details and shoot on the net," coach Bourgeois said. "We have a chance to catch the Tigers and get closer to the other teams."
Defensemen Samuel Roussy says the game could be one of the most important of the first semester. "We add standings points every win at home and it will be fun to finish the semester with a victory," said Roussy. "This will be our 11th home game; our spectators help us on the ice and we are playing better as the season progresses. Our first line is scoring and the others need to follow. The defensive squads will have to work efficiently against their scoring lines."
Joël Blanchard and Danick Emond will miss the game because of injuries. Brandon Thibeau will be the goaltender.
