Hockey Aigles Bleus will host the X-Men on Saturday

Following two straight losses, the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (3-6-0=6pts, 6th position) are looking to get back on the winning trail as they host St. Francis Xavier University X-Men (5-3-0=10pts, 3rd position), on Saturday at 7 p.m., in an Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey game at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena.

According to forward player Steve Lebel, the team is working hard during games. "We have to come back following our loss to Dalhousie on Wednesday," said Lebel. "It will not be easy, but with consistent work and intensity, we are able to achieve that goal. The players are working hard, our problem is mostly a question of focus and turnarounds that need to be addressed."

Coach Serge Bourgeois is looking forward to his players playing a full 60 minutes constantly in front of their spectators. "This is a first game against the X-Men in regular season," Bourgeois said. "They did come out on top 5-3 in an exhibition game against us. We have had a good rivalry with that team for a number of years. We will focus on our defensive play."
