Émilie Landry is the athlete of the week

Volleyball player Émilie Landry, of McLeod Hill, was chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athlete of the week for the period of September 26th to October 2nd by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Émilie Landry and the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues won the bronze medal at the University of Winnipeg Wesmen women’s volleyball tournament, on Sunday.

They won 3-2 over the University of Regina Cougars in the medal game. The team played five games and Landry had 35 kills, 21 digs, 5 aces and 19 blocks.

She is an engineering (mechanical) student.
