Three days after enjoying a first victory, the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (1-2=2pts) return to the road and travel to Sackville on Saturday evening to face the Mount Allison University Mounties (0-3=0pts) in Atlantic University Sport women's hockey at the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre.

“Our first win will help us line up against the Mounties,” said defensive player Cassandra Call. “We want to play on our terms. We also want to take advantage of our speed against the Mounties and go into their zone and do what we must. We will continue to shoot pucks towards the net to score.”

"We always have good games against the Mounties, and I know they will do everything to get a first win," said Aigles Bleues coach Marc-André Côté. “This is another good challenge for us. Our first win was very good for morale and rewarded the hard work of our players. It's not easy to win in this league and the players now have that experience.”

Rookie and former Mathieu-Martin Matadors high school hockey goaltender, Annick Boudreau of Memramcook, will make a first start in her university career in front of the net for the Blue and Gold. All players are available for the game.

The Mounties struggled in the first three games, scoring only twice while allowing 21 goals. Moncton has a record of 4 goals for and 5 against.
