The Mount Allison University Mounties will be the visitors at Stade Croix Bleue Medavie Stadium on the Moncton campus on Friday evening for two games against the Université de Moncton Aigles in Atlantic University Sport women's and men's soccer action.

The Aigles Bleues (0-5-0=0pts, 10th position) are still looking for a first victory this season and the Mounties (1-3-1=4pts, 8th position) have just won a first game in the women's division.

"It won't be easy, the Mounties have just taken 4 points in the standings," said Blue and Gold coach Mehyar Zekaroui. “For our part, we are looking for our first victory and we know the Mounties attack directly. We will have to be more resistant and not neglect our attack. They have players with more experience; and we will have to manage their two strikers well. We want to impose our momentum of the game and our midfielders will have important roles in the decisions on the field.”

Following a win and a draw last weekend, coach Younes Bouida of the Aigles Bleus "wishes to repeat the performances of the last two games. We want to continue our progress. The Mounties cannot be taken lightly. They have a strong team. We will be able to analyze the game and make our decisions.” Veteran Félix Robichaud had an excellent game with two goals against the Tigers.

The Aigles Bleus (1-3-2=4pts,8th position) added 4 points to the standings this past weekend with a first win and a draw while the Mounties (0-5-0=0pts, 10th position) are looking for a first victory in the men's standings.

The women's game starts at 5 p.m. and the men's at 7:15 p.m. Spectators are allowed at the stadium for the games on Friday; but must always wear a face mask unless they are drinking or eating. Games are also available on AUSTV.ca.
