Kyla Hughes, a shot-put athlete from the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues, will compete on Friday at 10 p.m. (EST) at the U SPORTS track and field championships in Edmonton.
A gold medal winner at the Atlantic University Sport championships last week, with a throw of 12.31 m, she is the only athlete from her team to have qualified for these championships.
