Volleyball Aigles Bleues to Play Three Games Against Sea-Hawks

The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues travel to St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, this weekend for three Atlantic University Sport women’s volleyball games against the Memorial University Sea-Hawks.

The Bleu et Or (0-4=0 points, 6^th position) and the Sea-Hawks (0-3=0 points, 5^th position) will battle it out on Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and on Sunday at 1 p.m.

“We are two young teams, but we are looking for wins,” stated Moncton coach Monette Boudreau-Carroll. “We want to come back with triumphs in the column. We will not be happy if that does not happen. We are playing better every game, and we need to play with confidence. We wish to be competitive and to play with more consistency.”

“We had very good training sessions this week and our mindset is to work as a team and progress in our performance,” said centre player Ivana Urquhart-Mladineo. “We have seen a lot of progress since our first game, and we are seeing a steady upward swing.”
