Eric Larocque is Named Director of Partnerships

Université de Moncton has appointed Eric Larocque as director of partnerships. This shall come into effect on October 15, 2019.

Reporting to the rectorship, the director of partnerships is responsible for the development and establishment of the community, government and international partnership strategy. He will ensure the development and establishment of an international relations institutional plan and will ensure the maintenance of links between the university and community partners, associations and representatives organizations and municipalities. He will also represent the interests of Université de Moncton with government departments and agencies.

“Mr. Larocque’s expertise, his leadership, commitment and interpersonal skills make him an excellent candidate to meet the requirements of the director of partnerships position,” stated the Interim President and Vice-Chancellor, Jacques Paul Couturier. “I am convinced that his vast experience and motivation will contribute a great deal to Université de Moncton.”

Over the course of his career, Mr. Larocque has worked as a consultant – sponsor activation and general director of the 2019 Congrès mondial acadien organizing committee, general director of the national committee of the 2021 IX Jeux de la Francophonie, general director of Société Nationale de l’Acadie and general director of FÉÉCUM.

Mr. Larocque holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a master’s degree in Public Administration from Université de Moncton.
