Hockey Aigles Bleues to host Axewomen
Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (1-2-0=2 points, 5th position) will host St. Francis Xavier University X-Women (2-0-0=4 points, 2nd position) on Saturday at 7 p.m. at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena in an Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey game.“We are facing a very good team on the ice,” coach Marc-André Côté said. “Playing at home will help us and I hope we will play as we are capable. We worked our special units this week so we can reduce the number of goals against us. Offensively, I am looking for more aggressiveness and better play around the opposing net. Our attack needs to be better supported.”
Alexia Desforges and Sara-Ève Mailhot are injured and will not dress for the game.
