Cross-country teams in Charlottetown
The Université de Moncton’s cross country female and male teams will take part in a last exhibition Atlantic University Sport cross-country race on Saturday in Charlottetown.The University of Prince Edward Island Panthers are hosting the women’s race at 12 p.m. and the men’s at 12:45 p.m.
“With the addition of the Quebec teams, our goal will be to have an impact on the race,” said coach Steve LeBlanc. “It will mark the first race for Mia Schofield, which means we will have five runners and a full team for the first time. I expect great runs from all athletes.”
The female runners in Charlottetown will include Sophie Black, Myriam Cormier, Émilie Guthrie, Pascale Richard and Mia Schofield. The men are Yannick Boudreau, Simon Delorme, Jérémie Gervais, Marc Guillodo, Christian Haché, Alain Lavoie, Guillaume Ragaru, Dominic Roy and Jonathan Roy.
The AUS championship is slated for Fredericton on Oct. 26th.
