Natalie Fleming and Héritier Masimengo are Université de Moncton Athletes of the Week

Soccer players Natalie Fleming and Héritier Masimengo were chosen as athletes of the week for the period from September 3 to 8, 2019 by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Natalie Fleming is a fourth-year student and team captain. A midfield player, she played with heart in her team’s two weekend games, a win and a loss. Her exemplary play led her team’s effort in both games and it motivated a more offensive play on Sunday that resulted in two goals. She is a kinesiology student.

Héritier Masimengo, a striker, was a key player for the Aigles Bleus in both weekend games. He scored two goals, one in each game, and created many other offensive plays during both games. He also impressed with his ball control in front of opponents, often outplaying them. He was an artisan of his team’s winning game. He is a criminology student.
