Volleyball Aigles Bleues Play Two Home Games

The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (3-13=6 points, 5^th position) will host two weekend games in Atlantic University Sport (AUS) women’s volleyball action.

The Aigles Bleues will host the University of New Brunswick Reds (8-6=16 points, 3^rd position) this Saturday at 4 p.m., then the Acadia University Axewomen (11-5=22 points, 2^nd position) this Sunday at 2 p.m. Both games will take place at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium of the Moncton campus.

“We aim to finish the season on a high note and win one or two games,” noted Moncton coach Monette Boudreau-Carroll. “This is possible. We have to pursue our progress towards next season and not abandon this year. We are still in the learning process with hopes of beginning next season with a much better team.”

Moncton still has a chance of qualifying or the AUS championship. There is a six-point spread between 4^th place Saint Mary’s University Huskies (6-8=12 points) and Moncton. This is the critical weekend for the team.
