Twenty-three Université de Moncton Athletes to Compete on Saturday

The Université de Moncton will be represented by 23 athletes at the annual Moncton open track and field competition to be hosted Saturday at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud on the Moncton campus.

This is the second meet for Aigles Bleues and Aigles Bleus athletes. Head coach Steve LeBlanc will be evaluating the progress of his athletes following the first competition.

In the women's category, the athletes in competition are Sophie Black, Constance Gilman, Laurence Guitard, Émilie Guthrie, Rachelle Haché, Kyla Hughes, Megan Kingston, Véronique Omalosanga, Lisa Richard, Pascale Richard, Sharon Ngongo, Gedeline Pitre, Karen Farag, Jessika Lepage, Mia Schofield, Myriam Cyr and December Sampson. In the men's division, Samuel Robichaud, Yanis Saheb, Emmanuel Zangio, Jean-Luc Bastarache, Alain Doucet and Jeremy Role are registered.

There will be competitions in several age categories. First events begin at 9 a.m. with the last at 5 p.m. Spectators are welcome.
