The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (9-7-3=21 points, 4th position) visit the Saint Mary’s University Huskies (12-7-1=25 points, 2nd position) this Wednesday at the Halifax Forum in an Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey game.

Coach Judes Vallée has seen his team blank the Huskies 6-0 and lose 6-5 this season. “We need to perform much better on the ice than we did on Saturday against Dalhousie,” Vallée indicated. “Even with a 3-0 win, we had a very poor first period and this was not the first time. We need to look at how our players get ready for the game individually. Both teams are very close in the standings. We did win 6-0, but it is not easy to play in their rink. We must repeat our 6-0 win. We simplified our play with very good defensive and offensive zone play and our special units.”

“We will have to work hard to keep our winning streak of three games alive,” said Robbie Graham. “We did have a very slow start last Saturday and in many games. We have to find a way to play and perform better in the first period. We also need to continue in the second and third periods. We have been able to find a way to win and that must continue. I enjoy playing with Marc-Anthony Therrien and Maxime St-Cyr. We have good chemistry, we help each other and we know where we are on the ice.”

All players are available to play the game.
