Marc Angers Ascends to the CPRS College of Fellows

Marc Angers, Director of Communications, Public Affairs and Marketing of the Université de Moncton, has been inducted into the College of Fellows of the Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS).

The College of Fellows recognizes CPRS members who are proven leaders in the public relations and communications profession by bestowing them with its highest designation. “As our newest member, Marc has shown himself, for many years, to be a thoughtful and inspiring leader in the PR community in Atlantic Canada as well as nationally,” said Daniel Granger, L.LL., MBA, APR, FCPRS, Presiding Officer, CPRS College of Fellows.

“It is thanks to Marc’s vision and leadership that the Université de Moncton is today more effectively equipped in the area of institutional communications,” stated Jacques Paul Couturier, Interim President and Vice-Chancellor of the Université de Moncton and one of Marc’s five sponsors. “The University’s strategic position has never been more clearly articulated and conveyed through a strengthened brand image.”

To attain Fellowship status, a public relations professional must be a member of the Society for at least 10 years, have a minimum of 20 years of experience within the profession and be accredited in public relations (APR). Successful Fellows have demonstrated a significant contribution to the public relations profession and to the CPRS.
