Hockey Aigles Bleues Visit Huskies on Wednesday

The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (2-4-0=4 points, 7^th position) are visiting the Saint Mary’s University Huskies (4-1-0=8 points, 2^nd position) this Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Halifax Forum.

Coach Marc-André Côté is hoping Halloween will bring good luck to his team, which has not been able to win two games in a row thus far this season. This is the second trip for the Aigles Bleues to Halifax in five days, losing to the Dalhousie University Tigers (2-4-1=5 points, 6^th position) last Saturday.

“We know it will not be easy,” said Côté. “Saint Mary’s has a very good team and always offers a solid opposition. We were able to solidify some plays this week during practice to better protect our defensive zone. Our offensive is also a problem because we have difficulty scoring. Our defensive play is still not where we would like it. We are giving too many goals, and we leave our goaltender by herself. We are looking for the remedy for this situation.”

Saint Mary’s blanked Moncton 4-0 on October 21^st in the lone encounter between the two teams this season.
