Hockey Aigles Bleus hosts Reds, Tuesday
The Aigles Bleus (4-3-2=10pts, 5th position) hosts first place team University of New Brunswick Reds (7-0-1=15pts) Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena. The Reds did win the first two games between the two teams this season. They suffered a first loss last weekend while Moncton won its last game.
“This is a huge task for us,” coach Judes Vallée said. “We were so close of winning the first game, here. We also encounter some difficulties against them. We discussed this at our Monday practice. We need an important win to keep building our confidence in our means, something we build after every game.”
The Aigles Bleus will play their third game in six days. “It is a tall order, but our players are in shape and their legs will be ready. We have a nice challenge ahead.”
“We will not modify our game,” said center Maxime St-Cyr. “We will be ready and play as a team. We are capable of a win. We want to show other league teams that Moncton is a force to be reckoned with this season. We rested on Sunday and we had a good practice on Monday to be ready. UNB has a good team, but we can surprise them.”
The game can be seen on www.AUStv.ca.
