Hockey Aigles Bleus travel to Fredericton on Friday

The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (2-2-0=4 points, 3^rd position) head to Fredericton on Friday for a dual against the University of New Brunswick Reds (2-0-0=4 points, 2^nd position) in an Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey game, at 7 p.m., at the Aitken University Centre.

The Reds did win the first game against the Aigles Bleus, scoring a goal with six seconds left to play in the third period for a 5-4 victory.

“We have a tall order,” said Moncton coach Judes Vallée. “We cannot get out there and play as we did on Wednesday evening in the first period. We must pay attention to the small details and make fewer errors. It will be a necessity to work hard and to play disciplined. We cannot play from the penalty box.”

“We did not have a lot of time to recuperate from our Wednesday evening's game,” said team captain, Thierry Comtois. “We must return to the base and be better prepared for the first period. Our focus is very important. We must come back.”
