More Than 800 Diplomas to Be Awarded on Moncton Campus

More than 800 diplomas will be handed out at the graduation ceremony at the Université de Moncton, Moncton campus, set to take place on May 26, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. in the stadium of the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud. More than 450 graduates will be taking part in the ceremony presided over by university chancellor Jean-Claude Savoie.

Youssef Aboud, originally from Lebanon, who has completed an applied bachelor’s degree in medical laboratory science, will be delivering the valedictory address on behalf of his peers.

Also during the ceremony, Annette Boudreau will become professor emeritus of French studies, René Cormier will be awarded an honoris causa doctorate in arts and culture, and an honoris causa doctorate in arts will be bestowed upon Jean-Baptiste Sercq.

The community is invited to attend the ceremony or watch it live on the Internet starting at 1:30 p.m.
