Gabrielle Forget and Robbie Graham are U de M athletes of the week

Hockey players Gabrielle Forget, of Joliette, Quebec, and Robbie Graham, of Dieppe, New Brunswick, have been chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athletes of the week from January 29 to February 4, 2018, by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department, Moncton campus.

Goaltender Gabrielle Forget faced 33 shots on goal, including 14 in the second period of Saturday’s overtime loss. She saw six pucks in one minute 40 seconds in the overtime period as the play was constantly in her end. She stopped four shots in a row in a matter of seconds. She made a number of key saves during the game to keep the score close. She is a bachelor of kinesiology student.

Forward Robbie Graham was a tireless player in both hockey games last week. He scored two goals, one in each game, and registered nine shots on goal. He was +1 on Wednesday. He is a bachelor of arts general student.
