Volleyball Aigles Bleues play Tigers twice
Aigles Bleues (3-6 = 6 points, 5th position) won their last outing, and will play twice against the top team, Dalhousie University Tigers. The first matchup will take place on Friday at 7 p.m., at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium, with the return in Halifax on Sunday at 2 p.m.
“We are four points behind fourth place with 11 games left to play,” Moncton coach Monette Boudreau-Carroll said. “We need a top 4 finish to advance to the AUS championships. This weekend will not be easy against the first-place team, but we played well against them in our last outing. They have only lost one game this season. We are as ready as we can. We need to perform. We know we can win, but this is a different season leading to the championship. We also need to be ready for the following games.”
All players are available for the weekend. The team has been practising since last week to be ready for the second semester play.
