Janelle Graham and Justin Vanier-Guénette are U de M athletes of the week

Hockey players Janelle Graham, of Dieppe, New Brunswick, and Justin Vanier-Guénette, of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec, have been chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athletes of the week for the period from January 2 to 7, 2018 by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department, Moncton campus.

Forward Janelle Graham scored twice, including the winner goal and another on the power play in the Saturday 4-2 win of the Aigles Bleues against the Dalhousie University Tigers. She had four shots on goal and was +2. She was chosen as the Subway player of the game. She added a goal in the loss to the St. Francis Xavier University X-Women on Friday, added two shots and was +1. She is a bachelor social sciences-criminology student.

Defencemen Justin Vanier-Guénette was a key player on the ice during his team’s two losses of the week. He collected an assist and took three shots on Friday evening. He saw plenty of ice time during the games. He is a bachelor of social sciences-criminology student.
