With a roster reduced by injuries, the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (0-5-2=2pts, 7th place) will travel to Antigonish, Nova Scotia, on Friday evening for a regular season 2017-2018 Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey game against St. Francis Xavier University X-Men (6-0-0=12pts, 1st position), at 7 p.m.

The number of injured players is at five and coach Judes Vallée will only find out, at the last minute, if one or two will be available for the evening game.

"Because of the number of injured players and four who will miss the Thursday practice because of classes, we only held a team meeting on Thursday," said Judes Vallée. "We only have two points after seven games, which is the quarter of our regular season. Some things are done right, and others need work; it is the time of the season for an evaluation. I am not sure which players will be available on Friday, but we need to get things done."

"We need to play as a team and bring our game a step-up," said forward Joël Blanchard. "We need to keep things simple and not complicated. We are lacking confidence, we must work hard. My role on the ice is to stop the other team from scoring and give the team energy with my play," he said.

The game may be seen on AUStv.ca.
