Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (10-15-1=21pts, 6th position) are still in a three way battle for the last two playoff spots and the team needs important standings points. The Serge Bourgeois coached team has the opportunity to gain two more on Wednesday as they travel to Halifax for an encounter with the Saint Mary’s University Huskies (13-13-1=27pts, 4th position) in an Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey game at the Forum.

Moncton has a two-point priority over seventh place Dalhousie University Tigers and is one behind University of Prince Edward Island Panthers, fifth. These three teams are battling it out for the last two positions with four games left in regular schedule. The end of the season is near.

"We definitely need a victory," stated coach Serge Bourgeois. "We are working on the small details of our play and system. The Huskies are aggressive on the ice and we need to approach them differently. The players are in shape at this time of the season and we focus on details, video analyses and explain systems on the board. The rest is also needed at this time to be ready for every game left."

"We cannot be happy with our Saturday game result," added forward Marc-Anthony Therrien. "We must work on the small details and be ready for Saint Mary’s. We have four games left in the regular season and we want a chance for the playoffs. We must do better on the offensive, bring pucks to the net, get the rebounds and not try to be fancy with the puck. We need to give those teams a better opposition."

All players are available. Brandon Thibeau will get the nod in front of the net. Fans can follow the game online at AUStv.ca.
