Rachelle Lemoine and Jean-François Plante are the athletes of the week

Volleyball player Rachelle Lemoine, of Saint-Boniface, Manitoba, and hockey player Jean-François Plante, of Sherbrooke, Québec, have been chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athletes of the week for the period of November 14th to 20th by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Rachelle Lemoine was named Subway player of the game in the 3-0 volleyball Aigles Bleues win over Acadia University Axewomen, Sunday. She was also a solid player in the Saturday 3-1 loss to Dalhousie University Tigers. She registered 20 kills, 3 Aces and 5 digs for both games. She is a kinesiology student.

Jean-François Plante scored twice and added an assist in the two weekend games in men’s hockey. He is the top AUS scorer with 16 goals in 14 games. He also has 7 assists for 23 points, third in the league for points. He is a kinesiology student.
