Pascale Doiron and Jean-François Plante are the athletes of the week

Volleyball player Pascale Doiron, of Dieppe, and hockey player Jean-François Plante, of Sherbrooke, Québec, have been chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athletes of the week for the period of November 7th to 13th by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Pascale Doiron was named Subway player of the game in the 3-1 volleyball Aigles Bleues win over Acadia University Axewomen on Saturday. She had 16 attacks, 5 kills and 8 digs. She is a social work program student.

Jean-François Plante had a hat trick and an assist in the overtime loss of his team on Saturday evening in men’s hockey. He was +4 with seven shots on goal and named Subway player of the game. He added a goal on Friday evening with three shots. He is a kinesiology student.
