Six U de M athletes at USports championships

Coach Jean-Marc Doiron of the Université de Moncton cross country teams will have six athletes at the USports cross country championships on Saturday on the Abraham Plains in Québec.

Kamylle Frenette and Carol-Ann MacDonald, women’s team and Jérémie Pellerin, Bryan Thomas, Rémi Poitras and Nassim Bousmaha, men, will be on the starting lineups on Saturday afternoon. They had good results at the Atlantic University Sport Championships two weeks ago in Antigonish.

"These athletes, except for Jérémie Pellerin, will be back next season with our teams," Doiron said. "I want them to learn from this experience running with the best in Canada. They will be more competitive next year at these championship races."
