Hockey Aigles Bleues host Tommies on Friday

Following three losses in a row, the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues are determined to turn things around and get back in the winning column in two Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey games this weekend.

The Aigles Bleues (1-2-1=3pts, 6th position) and the St. Thomas University Tommies (4-0-0=8pts, 1st position) will battle on Friday evening at 7 p.m. at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena. Saturday at 3 p.m., the Denis Ross coached team will play against the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers (2-2-0=4pts, 4th positon).

''We need to play a full 60 minutes, Moncton coach Denis Ross said. ''The Tommies are one of the top teams in Canada (4th overall) and of our league. Their players are confident with many veterans and they are a top team. We worked on different systems this week to counter these teams and it will all come down to our execution.''

Gabrielle Forget will be in nets on Friday and Sabrina Lebrun, on Saturday. Jessica Duclos, Judyane Bernier and Chantal Beauchamp will not play because of injuries.
