Hockey Aigles Bleus and Huskies return match

Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus and Saint Mary’s University Huskies are all primed for the return match between these two Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey team’s that will happen on Wednesday in Halifax.

The game is promising because both teams have the same record of two wins and four losses with 4 points in last place in the standings. The Aigles Bleus did score three times in the third stanza on Friday in Moncton for a come from behind 5-4 win in the first game.

''We played well on Friday and I predict we will be ready to play a better road game'' Moncton coach Serge Bourgeois said. ''The Huskies will probably want to match lines; we will have to change fast. Their rink is a hard place to play for us. We need to find a way to keep our energy and intensity high for the full 60 minutes. We did focus on the small details this week in practice and we worked hard.''

According to defencemen Danick Emond, the Aigles Bleus see some progress after each game. ''We are getting used to the new systems of play'' said Emond. ''The Huskies are aggressive; we will have to move the puck around with good support from our forwards. Passing from our zone to the offensive will be critical. We are doing some great things, but the small errors are causing the goals. The players are working hard at practice and during games.''

Brandon Thibeau should be in net for Moncton and Mathieu Martin will probably miss the game because of an injury.
