Hockey Aigles Bleues play two games in Nova Scotia

Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (1-0-1=3pts, 3rd position) will travel to Nova Scotia for two weekend games in Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey action.

Halifax is the first destination for the Denis Ross coached team. On Saturday, the team will face the Dalhousie University Tigers (0-1-1=1pts, 6th position). On Sunday, the team will travel to Antigonish for the return game against the St. Francis Xavier University X-Women (0-2-0=0pts, 7th position). Moncton won a first encounter between the two teams, 5-3 last weekend.

''We will have to play well in all three zones,'' coach Denis Ross said. ''Our play execution will be our focus because we are playing against two very good teams on the road. The Tigers are looking for a first win this season and the X-Women want to get back at us after losing against in the first game. These two teams are very competitive in their home rink.''

Sabrina Lebrun will be the goaltender on Saturday and Gabrielle Forget, on Sunday. Three players will miss the weekend games because of injuries, Chantal Beauchamp, Jessica Duclos and Roxanne Turcotte.
