Our campuses
The Université de Moncton was created in 1963.
Its three campuses are located in New Brunswick,
in Edmundston, Moncton and Shippagan.
A generalist institution, it offers a range of study
programs at the three university levels to respond
to the needs of the population it serves. The
largest French-language university outside
Quebec, it offers its services to the vast French-
speaking diaspora across Canada, making it the
most important symbol of linguistic and cultural
vitality for the Fancophone population living
outside Quebec. It attracts an ever-increasing
number of international students from more
than forty countries.
