Sept étudiantes et étudiants reçoivent des prix à Science Atlantique Psychologie, dont Dominic Guitard de l’Université de Moncton

Quatre d’entre eux ont reçu le prix de la Recherche de Science Atlantique. Il s’agit de Karen Buckle de la Saint Thomas University avec sa communication orale intitulée « Spontaneous Activation of Causal Inferences Consistent with the Self- Serving Bias: A Probe Recognition Investigation »; Lisa Fang de la Memorial University of Newfoundland (The effects of diet cycling on male and female mice); T-Jay Anderson de la Mount Saint Vincent University (What’s all the Hype about Binaural Beats? An Examination of the Differential Effects of Binaural Beats, Arousal, and Placebo on Attentional Vigilance); et Jennifer Hunter de la University of New Brunswick (Does access to notes during a test increase long-term retention of information?)
Deux autres ont obtenu le prix de la communication de Science Atlantique, soit Laura Prichard, de la Saint Thomas University avec sa communication orale intitulée « Student’s Knowledge and Perceptions of Traditional and Cyberbullying » et Dominic Guitard, de l’Université de Moncton, avec son affiche intitulée « Is backward recall really based on visuospatial information? »
Enfin, le prix Karen Nicholson pour la meilleure recherche en neuropsychologie a été accordé à Yasmin Beydoun de la Dalhousie University avec sa communication orale ayant pour thème « Studying Morpho-semantic and Morpho-syntactic Anomalies in Modern Standard Arabic through ERPs ».
