The whole world is within your reach: part-time language programs offered at the Université

The Continuing Education department of the Université de Moncton is very proud to have been offering, for over thirty years, French first-language and second-language training programs mainly for the adult population. The courses can be taken in the daytime, in the evening or during intensive sessions in the summer to better meet the expressed needs of the clients.

The courses are designed to meet the requirements of the modern world. In the case of French second-language, the teaching personnel, who is specialised in teaching foreign languages, favours the communication approach by making sure to establish a link between theory and the situations experienced in the daily life and in the workplace of the students. They put the emphasis on the development of spoken and written understanding and expressions. The Acadian culture is a major element in this training.

The programs and courses offered can also be customised to meet specific needs. In addition to being offered on campus, the courses can also be offered in the workplace.
