Confidentiality policy

The Université de Moncton's Philanthropic Development Department is committed to protecting its donors' personal information. Philanthropic Development places great importance on the responsible handling of the personal information it receives.

Every individual can count on the strict protection of this in formation and the respect of their consent in the use and handling of this information. Philanthropic Development's confidentiality policy has been developed in accordance with these objectives.

Definition of personal information

Personal information is any information that can be used to distinguish, identify or contact a specific individual.

We consider donors' and volunteers' coordinates to be personal information and will not divulge any donor information without their consent.

Consent

A donor's consent is required regarding the collection and proposed use of personal information when information is collected.

Confidentiality

Donors who request that their name or the amount of their donation not be made public will remain anonymous.
